Alright so I watch the current season of H5-O for the McDannoness (Yes that is a word) but before at the tender age of eight, this is not why I watched it!
I'd like to believe that at the age of eight I was still buying into the stork theory therefore I had no time to be thinking of what was going on between men and men, men and women or alien species not yet identified!
Now at this age I watched H5-O because of my father. However this has changed drastically since my dad realized this Danno is a typical New Jersey born and bred. Said half of the parental unit was determined to prove that just because we lived in Detroit, Jersey was still a magnificent and glorious place, where the rainbows were permanent, it was always sunny and if you woke up at five you'd probably see unicorns prancing down the streets trailing dandelions and sunflowers (In case it has been missed Father is from New Jersey, a fact we are reminded of daily and loudly)
So said Father had us watch every single episode of H5-O so that we could appreciate Danny's awesome New Jersey ability to overcome obstacles and it was true Danno was awesome.
Now you may ask why I'm bringing this all up again, and you'd be right to ask.
See I may have in passing mentioned my intentions to return to the US to continue my studies (This was clearly a large error on my part)
Father decided in his wisdom to call me up and utter these words in order to motivate me to study in New jersey and I quote "It's one of the safest places in the US"
Excuse me while I choke on the filthy lying, lies! Ha! It's not going to happen.
I'd be safer living in a New Orlean's bayou, at least the gators are semi-friendly >_>
Now don't get me wrong I like Jersey, you know when no one knows you there but when you have a family as large as mine being in a place where gossip seems to be the daily currency, not so good.
You disappoint me Father after you made me belive the cooties thing I expected more elaborate lies :(
