A Day In The Life

joidianne4evaMy life this week has been a bit iffy. Seriously I don’t know what else to describe it as.
I just started my second week on my new job as a Sales Assistant and had my first problem customer. The guy wanders into the store spends ten minutes meandering aimlessly down the aisles then miraculously as soon as he gets to the tills he’s in a hurry.
Added to the fact that the price he wanted his item for wasn’t the price it was showing up as meant he had to wait, at which point he got huffy slammed his cash down and left. The worse bit was I’d been having a pretty good day up until then and he came in and ruined my first eight hour shift.
Sometimes I really can’t stand some people.
Also I’ve gotten to the action section of my first full length H/D fic and for some reason I just can’t type it. I have no idea why, but every time I try another plot bunny for a random fic pops into my head and I end up thinking I’ll do the H/D fic tomorrow.
If this keeps up my beta may just stage a strike!
And to round it all off I start at my new university in a week yet I still haven’t bought any of my essentials. Plus seeing as I’m pretty new to the area I won’t know anyone in my classes, which is not exactly making me feel better about the whole thing.
I really hope next week goes a bit better.

As for the hitman thing, I'm hoping it won't come to that (Fingers crossed for a good third week)
